The Animus Will Soon Be Under Your Control In Assassin’s Creed Origins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A new update for Assassin’s Creed Origins on the PC is coming to let you tweak and change gameplay aspects of Assassin’s Creed Origins via the Animus In a world like Assassin’s Creed Origins has set, I am talking the "real world" and not the "fake world" here; it makes sense that some of the games mechanics and aspects should be able to be broken. Not that it is a huge secret but one of the aspects of the franchise that we have to deal with is the fact that we are playing as someone who is plugging into a computer and playing as someone else. This has been the case since Ubisoft brought us the first Assassin’s Creed and shattered minds with what was going on. Read More...

Agony Will Be Getting Some Censorship For The Console Versions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony It looks like console players of Agony will be seeing things in a few different ways, as Agony has had to be censored to be able to come to the platforms While it may not be the reason given for the delay of Agony, it looks like we may have found the true reason we are all waiting a bit longer for this title to launch and it is sadly censorship. At least that is what I am presuming here and not directly what Madmind Studio has said but it makes sense now. As it turns out, they have had to go through a few changes with Agony to get it to a place where it can release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Read More...

Kingdom Hearts III Is Bringing Some Game & Watch Mini-Games With It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars The Ewoks are coming to Star Wars Battlefront II as a new playable race so you can further relive some scenes from Star Wars’ past Another race of characters are coming to Star Wars Battlefront II and also bringing a new gameplay mode along with them. At least for a limited time, but we will ignore that for now as DICE is bringing us all the Ewoks to the game and with them a new mode called Ewok Hunt. All of which will be hitting Star Wars Battlefront II on April 18th for the low price of free. Well at least if you already own the core game on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One before or during the time this limited event runs. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Conan Exiles Conan Exiles is looking to leave Early Access and finally come to all of the announced platforms as Conan Exiles now has a final release date set The Early Access for Conan Exiles is coming to an end on May 8th. Not because the game is getting scraped or anything. No, this is all because Funcom is finally bringing the game to market in its final-ish form and for the PS4 and Xbox One as well. PC games have had all of the Conan Exiles so far but it was all to help them get to where we are with the game and see it get crafted into a full experience as well as add a whole lot of new content for us all. Siegfried Will Not Surrender To The Nightmare In SoulCalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More...

Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption’s Release Has Been Pushed Back A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been pushed back but at least gamers on the Switch will have the chance to give Sinner a play If you were gearing up to play Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption on April 25th here…then you may want to put the brakes on that. It looks like the game is no longer hitting that date and will now be looking at a Q3 2018 release date to get in on this new Boss Battler title with a twist Dark Star Games and Another Indie are working on. That seems like quite the delay for a game that was supposed to land just a few weeks from now. The bigger reason given for the delay is that it will now be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch all at the same time. Read More...

Overkill’s The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

Review — Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed We sit down and review Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered. A title that was lost in the sea of technology upgrades. Here is our review of Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered Sometimes games go missing through the cracks or just have poor timing when they release. These were a few of the reasons I heard and experienced on why gamers missed out on Assassin’s Creed Rogue way back when it launched. It was competing with another game that Ubisoft had also put out but during the age when we were all transitioning to the PS4 or Xbox One. That is one of the great reasons we have remasters and why I was excited to find out that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered was going to be an actual thing out there. Read More...

It has been a good year for Larian Studios with the game and it looks like they have finally taken it over to give access to as many players as possible. I am sure that there are other reasons that have been pushed to get Divinity: Original Sin II over to the consoles, but for now, we can go with just that. Read More...

Try Not To Fear The Reaper With The Latest Story Bit For Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampyr A new story trailer for Vampyr is here and dives into a different side of the story for Vampyr that we have yet to hear or explore Add another story trailer to the list for Vampyr as we have just that for you now. Not that I do not enjoy getting more and more for the game, but I just do not want DontNod to show off all of the inner workings of it before it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 5th. I am sure that we are going to be safe on that, but we have another good look at the game's story again. This time it does seem to focus a bit more on the darker aspects of Vampyr and not just the general goings on in the game's world. Read More...

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Is A Rumor No More & Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spyro Official word has come down that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to us all and will house the first three Spyro titles in remastered form Rumor no more as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been announced and will be the nice big remastered package of these original games for us all. Most of the rumors we had heard so far have been about spot on, except that the games are being remastered by Toys For Bob instead. It will house the first three Spyro titles all rebuilt from the ground up and coming at us in the HD quality that the PS4 and Xbox One can currently push out there. It is not mentioned directly by Activision, but I am guessing it will be 1080p for the base models of the consoles and 4K for the Pro and X versions of the systems. Read More...
