I Almost Forgot The Secret World Is A MMO...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of July 2011 - 03:20 PM ]
If it wasn't for the fact that I get reminded it is a MMO in every press release, I would swear that The Secret World was not going to be one. With each new screen and video that is ever so slowly hitting the web or my inbox I get a sense of confusion at first. So far the game doesn't look like a standard MMO. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: The Darkness II
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 14th of March 2011 - 03:54 PM ]
After waiting two hours in line at the booth for The Darkness II my friend and I finally made it in to get our grimy little hands on the demo. We were the last batch of the day and the seven of us were ushered into the heavily guarded and boxed in booth. Inside it was dark with black lights and heavy, clear curtains dividing the actually play area from the main section. Read More...

PAX East Day 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of March 2011 - 10:19 AM ]
By Matt Waitt The first day of PAX East started off on a bad foot with me forgetting the passes at my house. After trekking all the way back, my crew and I finally made it to PAX East. We took in all the sights, sounds and not too friendly smells and we headed on over to none other than the Mortal Kombat booth. Read More...

So if you were at PAX East last week, or at least following the official Dead Space Twitter account, you might have had the chance to catch a glimpse of what is to bee seen of the Dead Space 2. PAX East: The Sight And Sounds
by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 31st of March 2010 - 08:47 AM ]
If you were not able to make it to Boston for PAX East, do not worry that is why we were there. Some of the booths were so busy with people surrounding the screens, it was hard for me to even get a decent picture. But Michael and myself met a lot of people like Adelle from Gametopia, her husband Dan from Gametopia, Rich from Gametopia/Bitmob and some of the crew from Bitmob. Read More...

Shank Cometh
by Kevin [ Wednesday, 31st of March 2010 - 06:41 AM ]
I've been following Shank for a while now, and I've been consistently impressed by the visuals and the style of the game. It's like a 2D explosion of sweetly animated vengeance carefully marinated in some of the craziest violence that does not include a certain Devil Who May Cry or Dual Wielding Busty Librarian Clothed In Her Own Hair. Developed by Klei Entertainment, makers of such downloadable goodness as Eets and N+, Shank has action to spare. Read More...

by Binh Nguyen [ Monday, 29th of March 2010 - 03:34 PM ]
Boston has their own anime convention called Anime Boston. You would think that even with just that convention the people in the Boston area would be satisfied dressing up as their favorite anime, cartoon, and video game characters. Well that was not the case here at PAX East. Read More...

PAX 2009 Impression: Shank
by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 9th of September 2009 - 12:46 PM ]
As I was walking around the PAX show floor, I happen to nearly walk by this Gem of a game. This is a game that seemed to nearly go un-notice at PAX 2009. Major titles like Mass Effect 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Halo: ODST and more at PAX make this game to be an extremely hidden gem for many of us that tried it out. Read More...
