Today it was announced that 38 Studios acquired Big Huge Games. 38 Studios is the studio that was started by now-retired professional baseball player Curt Schilling who is also an admitted World of Warcraft addict. Founding 38 Studios to create an “Online Entertainment Experience,” Schilling and his team have been working on this new fantasy MMOG, currently entitled Copernicus, since 2006.
