Dishonored 2
A new spotlight video for Dishonored 2 is here for Corvo as Dishonored 2 has now officially gone gold and preps for full release
It looks like Dishonored 2 has officially gone gold for us all and now all we have to do is wait until November 11th to get the game on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That and we can celebrate with Arkane Studios while they wind down from all of the development and deal with the stress of if they pleased all of us or let us all down. That has to be rough. We could do all of that or we could take another good look at Dishonored 2's other half of the equation in Corvo and see just how he is different now than he was in the last game. I think we should focus on that as Bethesda will want us there instead of hounding Arkane for the next short amount of time.
You could go back and play thought Dishonored again to get a good feel for the character of course but who has the time with all of these games coming out and everything. I know I don't. I guess that is why we can have a quick rundown of the last game and Corvo as he gears up for action yet again in Dishonored 2. That would be the bigger reason for you to be here right now as we have a new character spotlight that aims to do just what we said. It will also save you hours of gameplay time to get all those reminders of who Corvo is as this is just another short video showcasing the character and his upgrades. Have a look and get ready for Dishonored 2 to come in the next short bit of time.
Dishonored 2 — Corvo Attano Spotlight
The Royal Protector returns in Dishonored 2, but Corvo Attano isn’t just older and wiser. He has a full suite of enhanced powers, which he’ll need to take back the throne. Find out more about Corvo, his motivations and his upgraded powers, with new gameplay and exclusive insights from Creative Director Harvey Smith and Lead Designer Dinga Bakaba.
That was short and sweet. Although it does still leave me wondering if Corvo will have all of his powers still at the beginning of Dishonored 2 and we'll just have to upgrade them as described in the video here. Each of the arcane powers will have their own upgrades that will allow for new uses of the powers. Like the fact that Corvo can no possess a dead body to 'hide' in or that he can freeze time and let it flow forward just as he needs it to. Interesting tweaks and I wonder if this is Arkane Studios' solution to not having Corvo continue to be overpowered from the beginning of the game. Not long now until we all find out though.
Are you ready for Dishonored 2 to finally land here or are you still trying to catch up on other titles for now? Do you think that the upgrade system will be the way to under-power the arcane abilities or will we get striped of them at the beginning? Do you like that some of the cool DLC updates from Dishonored are being used here? Let us know your thoughts on it all in the comments and feel free to discuss in the comments. For more on Dishonored 2 though, be sure to stay right here as we'll keep all the updates coming out as we are able to get them.
