by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Giant Consequences. This is the second episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues as the second episode of Minecraft: Story Mode new season has released and is out there for those who want to take each with a bit of break in-between and not binge the whole thing. Giving yourself a break between each episode so you can reflect on what just happened seems to be the ongoing M.O. Read More…

Jurassic World Evolution Has Been Announced For Summer Of 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
If the Jurassic World films are not enough for you, then get excited as Jurassic World Evolution has just been announced to launch alongside the film We have another game that just received its announcement and that would be Jurassic World Evolution. Yes, we are getting a new game in the franchise here next year and it is coming to our PS4, Xbox One, and PC all around the same time that the next feature film drops. That makes this sound like a film tie-in to me and we all know how all of that goes. I am not saying that Jurassic World Evolution is going to fall directly into that design as many others have, but it does not sound like the best thing. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]

Not the most shocking of news as NetherRealm Studios did tease this a bit just for the convention here, but here we go with the three new fighters we can expect. More or less all of the speculation and guesses for who was coming to Injustice 2 were about right as two of the fighters announced had been guessed for quite some time. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The release date for Batman: The Enemy Within's second episode has been set and it looks like another big Batman villain is joining in on the fun The first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within did an amazing job of bringing the story back to us and it looks like that will all continue on in very short order. Well, at least short order compared to other titles from Telltale Games that may take more than a few months to get out there. However, here we go with the second episode of Batman: The Enemy Within launching on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile device on September 26th. Read More…

Far Cry 5 Has Forced Baptismals & Fishing Mini-Games
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Far Cry 5 is out there from Gamescom and it shows off some of the mini-games of Far Cry 5 as well as other ways to save the innocent If you wanted more Far Cry 5 then you have it. In fact, we have a whole lot more of the game here in terms of gameplay as Ubisoft takes us all on an extended look at some of the current gameplay being floated around out there to show off many other aspects of the game. It has been released here for Gamescom, but as it sounds, this is a slice of footage from back as far as E3 when they were showing off Far Cry 5 during that show. None of it was seen by me personally so I have a feeling it was all "behind closed doors" or for "privileged media" to experience, but now it is here and adds in a few things that we may or may not have wanted for the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite has been released and we get to see some of the darker characters for Marvel Vs Capcom in action with the Soul Stone Last week we were shown the last of the roster for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite that will be coming at launch and we were able to see how dark things could go; in terms of characters. Now that we have seen them, it is time to see them all in action and Capcom has delivered us a new gameplay video for the game just to show all of that. Well, at least to show us how these fights in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite could play out when the characters are in the best of hands or set up. Read More…

We have all been hoping that DICE would add in a few other options into the mix since the last entry for the franchise here. As it looks now, we are being granted such a new mode as Star Wars Battlefront II is now getting a Starfighter Assault mode mixed in and it sounds pretty much as you would guess. Read More…

Assassin’s Creed Origins Gets All Cinematic Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
A new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins has been shown off at Gamescom and it shows off some of the icons that Assassin’s Creed Origins could have mixed in Well, Gamescom is currently in full swing and it would make sense that we would get to see more for Assassin’s Creed Origins during the event given that it launches on October 27th here. It would be insanely strange if Ubisoft missed the chance to show off more for the game and they did not as it was one of the items that opened the event showing off more of the Xbox One X out there. They needed to show off just what they are capable to do there for Assassin’s Creed Origins as well as on the PS4 and PC so it makes perfect sense for now. Read More…

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Will Be Filled With All Kinds Of Monsters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and it shows us the other horrors we'll be facing in Shadow Of War besides the Orcs There are so many threats in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War that we will have to deal with and here we go adding even more into the mix of it all. Not the biggest surprise to the game at all, or the IP either, but there will be a plethora of other monsters and creatures out there to hinder our progression and thus level us up just a bit more. While extra monsters in Shadow Of War is nothing too shocking, it was something that Monolith Productions wanted us to see and experience here as we all get ready for October 10th to swing around and give us more of the story and gameplay we've enjoyed for so long. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There goes yet another week of video games in the bag. I swear that seems like the way we start all of these recaps out there. Nonetheless, we have hit the end of yet another week and it was filled with even more updates and news that could have been expected. There was a lot for Shadow Of War and Assassin’s Creed Origins yet again, and sadly we saw that Crackdown 3 had been delayed yet again until next year. Thankfully though, we have Agents Of Mayhem out there to feel those needs and if you are still on the fence for that title, we just published out review for it so you can get a better idea before purchase. Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier Is Announced & Coming This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
A new title in the Planet Of The Apes line has been announced & this fall we will be playing Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier for more story This seems like an out-of-nowhere announcement, but we have another new title coming this Fall in the way of Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier. No this is not another film that will be coming for the rebooted franchise, but a video game bridge of a title coming from Imaginati Studios to fill in some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes. Seems like a bit of a miss given that the film has already launched and any solid tie-in there has mostly been missed, but nonetheless we are getting it. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay for ECHO has been released and it shows us just how the AI of ECHO will learn our own moves to hunt us down Earlier this month were learned that ECHO was finally getting a release date on September 19th. Almost a year after it was first brought up and shown off to the world by developer Ultra Ultra. We've heard a lot about the gameplay and how it will learn based on your own actions, and have seen a little of it over time, but now we get to see a full breakdown and just how crazy the gameplay could be. Yes, we have some new gameplay for ECHO from its most recent build so it looks like this is about what we can expect on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC when the release date finally comes around. The Dark Kingdom Is Rising In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of August 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
More characters for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite have been revealed as well as more of the new story for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite we'll be experiencing soon Here we go with what I am guessing will be the final story trailer for Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite before September 19th. I am guessing that as it also fleshes out the full thirty character roster that Capcom has put together for this next big outing. That and it also looks like we may have a few different stories floating around here in Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite unless the showing here doesn't truly pan out as it looks like it will. I know I am seeing another Civil War kind of set up here as two different groups of thought debate on letting Thanos truly join in the fight for it all. Read More…

The Secret World Is Getting Optioned For Its Own TV Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like The Secret World is finally going to be a TV series as a show based on The Secret World and its rebranding has been announced It only took about a decade but it looks like what I was hoping for with The Secret World is finally happening as it is being picked up for its very own TV series. That's right, the dark and horror filled MMO from Funcom is finally getting expanded into a series that will delve deeper into the world and secrets hidden within it. Not that the game or its rebranding of Secret World Legends doesn't do a great job of it already, but it will be fun to see a bit more of it all expanded upon and from others points of view. Crackdown 3 Has Been Delayed Until Spring Of 2018 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of August 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
After much debate, Crackdown 3 has been delayed to address all of the issues gamers had with Crackdown 3 recently as well as add improvements We were going so well with all of the good news in gaming and then we get hit with Crackdown 3 is on the delayed list yet again. Sadly, yes it looks like Reagent Games and Sumo Digital are going to need a lot more time to get the game out to us as it has been stated that the game is no longer hitting the November 7th release date anymore. Now we won't be seeing Crackdown 3 hitting the Xbox One and Windows PC until sometime in Spring of 2018. This could be a few months delay or a much larger one when you look at what Spring could mean.
