Twin Mirror’s First Solid Gameplay Is Here To Bend Our Minds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of November 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The first gameplay for Twin Mirror is here to give us a look at the first episode as well as gameplay mechanics for Twin Mirror We have seen a whole lot weirdness for Twin Mirror so far and it has all been in-game footage. One could say it has all been gameplay footage so far, but now we are back with something from DontNod directly that dives into the actual gameplay mechanics we will be playing with when the first episode drops in 2019. Things may change or be hidden as of right now, given the wait we still have, at least we have something solid to go on for the few things we have been wondering for Twin Mirror for a while now. Like the Double and Mind Space that always seems to be in the trailers but not fully described until now. Read More…

Sir Dan Is Back, Again, As We Have A New Update On MediEvil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 31st of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for MediEvil is here and we finally get to see how the game has been remade since MediEvil first hit the PS1 twenty years ago It is possible to have missed the fact that MediEvil was getting a full remake as it was announced back in 2017 during that year's PSX and originally claimed to be here by 2018. Obviously, as we did not get a date for it this year, it is not coming this year to the PS4. That is okay though as I would rather Other Ocean Interactive to take their time and make a great addition into the MediEvil franchise. Read More…

Review — Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Call Of Cthulhu. Another tabletop RPG is bringing its fun into the digital side. Here is our review of Call Of Cthulhu Horror games this year seemed to be few and far between when it came to Halloween this year, but thankfully we have Call Of Cthulhu to look for and possibly bring all of those thrills and chills for the holiday. Not only that, but also show off how much work Cyanide Studios put into bringing this tabletop game to life in a digital world. Something we have seen a few times in the past even if they did not pan out as well as we would all hope. Read More…

It is not like it was some huge secret that Capcom was holding onto for the launch of the game as it is. We just now have a nice look at them in the Resident Evil 2 Remake with and without some of the extra filters we can run while playing the game. Read More…

Have A Taste Of How Hitman 2 Has Perfected The Franchise
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new rundown of features for Hitman 2 shows us how it has evolved the franchise to one of the best in Hitman history From what we have been shown and told so far from IO Interactive and Warner Bros., Hitman 2 is shaping up to be the height of perfection for the franchise to date. A lofty claim to make given where gaming is at the moment but it is most likely part of the hype train to get us all pre-ordering before November 13th. It could also be the fact that the team has put in a lot of work and added in some new features to give us all that perfect murder sim we have been waiting for. Nonetheless, it is the claim we have to examine here for Hitman 2 in the latest trailer for the game. Read More…

Not that it is releasing in time for this Halloween, as it is currently slated for a Q3 2019 release, but Wales Interactive has placed the official teaser out there to get the ball rolling on this new horror title. A title that will bring horror to pretty much all of the platforms next year as Maid Of Sker is slated to hit the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch as well. Something that seems to be fewer and further between in the current state of the market here. Read More…

Fallout 76 Is Starting To Look Nice In A Live Form
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Fallout 76 is here to take us into more of the look and feel of the Fallout world with no new gameplay to go on By now you have had your taste of Fallout 76 and/or are looking for more. You may have also missed out on that whole B.E.T.A. thing too for whatever reason as well, but there is more from Bethesda for the game as we wait just a bit longer for November 14th to finally roll on in. Not too much longer and we can play a final-ish version of Fallout 76 on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 and to help us hold over until that time…we have a new live action trailer for the game… Yes, a live-action trailer to get us hyped up for a video game instead of actual gameplay footage. Obviously you can have a look at this new video for Fallout 76 down below, but it does not hold all too much for us outside of trying to remind us that it is still coming. Read More…

The List Of Titles For The PlayStation Classic Have Been Confirmed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The full list of PlayStation Classic titles have been set down now and you can see what PlayStation games you can play this holiday season Some of you may have been holding out to pre-order the PlayStation Classic before December 3rd here and that makes a bit of sense as we had so few titles actually announced for the system. There was the guarantee of twenty titles when it was announced in general and now we have the full list besides the five big titles Sony was trying to grab our attention with. They were some rather solid PlayStation titles, sure, but given how gamers are we need to see it all before we throw our cash. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 10/22/18 — 10/26/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a busy week for video games but we already knew that was coming. Not on the true news and update side of things, but definitely on the release side as Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally here while everyone needs to choose between it and the many other games out there right now. Not to miss the fact that we have video games like Hitman 2 on its way soon and Call Of Cthulhu as well. Or titles like Pathfinder: Kingmaker out there and demanding attention as well. Read More…

Hitman 2 Brings The Briefcase Back In Its Best Way Ever
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
The briefcase is back in for Hitman 2 and this time it offers up new things to help take down Hitman 2’s first elusive target It may seem like it was a no-brainer but Hitman 2 will be bringing the briefcase back into the mix. Not only that, but IO Interactive is offering a few more ways to use it in the game besides just dropping hardware out in the map for 47's use. That is still an option Hitman 2, of course, it just comes with a whole lot of other uses that a briefcase can be used for in the game. Things like distractions, having others smuggle items into locations for you, and beating someone into unconsciousness to leave a crime scene unnoticed. Read More…

Just Cause 4 Gives Us All A Panoramic View Of The Game’s World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
A new flyby video for Just Cause 4 is here to show off the splendor of Just Cause 4’s world and 4K visuals in the mix I hope you have not seen too much of the world of Just Cause 4 as we have more to take in and in a new way here for the game. It really is starting to feel more and more like this is what Avalanche Studios wants to focus on instead of all of the chaos we can cause in the game's world, but I know I will take every little bit extra we can get for the game. More so as it looks like this is also the video that Square Enix is showing off for Just Cause 4 out at Paris Games Week on a nice and wide 4K screen. Something many of us may not have before December 4th to hook up to our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC, but at least we have ways to look at it outside of all of that. Read More…

What Has Sunk May Rise In Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu is here to give us all another deeper look at the madness Call Of Cthulhu will bring soon Can you feel the madness rising as we get ever so closer to the release of Call Of Cthulhu? Yes? No? It does not matter as we have a new trailer to look at for the game that shows off more of the insanity that Cyanide Studios has put in this version of the pen and paper game it is all based on. Not to say we have not had some great showing of all of this in the past from Focus Home Interactive, but who can turn down more Call Of Cthulhu without the worry of spoiling too much more of the game in general. That is always a concern when it comes to things like this but we only have to wait a few more days until it releases on October 30th. Read More…
