AC/DC is coming to Rock Band

On September 30th it was officially announced on the Rock Band forum that AC/DC is coming to the hugely popular Harmonix title. Though their song “Let There be Rock” is playable for Rock Band 2, currently out on the Xbox 360 and soon for the PS3, the band will also be getting the stand-alone treatment for both the original Rock Band and its sequel. Available only on disc and not a part of the DLC, the installment will be titled AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack and hits store shelves on November 2nd for the 360, PS3 and PS2. Google (not) to buy Valve.

Update: Accoring to MTV Multiplayer, Doug Lombardi says it's a "complete fabrication"Yesterday at the GDC, our very own Clov3r got the chance to talk with the developers over at the Valve booth and got confirmation that it is infact a fabrication. New Additions to MK vs DC Universe Roster

Today, Midway announced the release of an all-new gameplay FIGHT video for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe videogame. Along with the FIGHT video, four additional characters have been confirmed for the famous roster including The Joker, Kitana, Jax and Green Lantern.This latest, in-depth video showcases the innovative fighting mechanics found in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, including Klose Kombat, an up-close brutal fighting mechanic that shows progressive damage on each fighter and Freefall Kombat, giving players the ability to engage in kombat as they fall from one arena down to the next. Both of these fighting mechanics along with Test Your Might and character-specific signature moves, including Batman's Batarang and Scorpion's spear. Read More...

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe vs. Comic-Con Ok, not really a fight per say, but at least another reason to go to Comic Con this year. If you didn't have a good enough reason in the first place. Meet some of your favorite people of all times. *cough*Hades*cough*. So here's the skinny. I love saying that. On the 25th, that's the Friday, Ed Boon and Jimmy Palmiotti will be holding a panel to show off the game.
