The wait is now over GTA fans. The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V can be seen below in all of its glory. At least in the glory of having a trailer that really doesn't tell us much. Outside of heavy hints at a Los Angeles-type setting and a time period of being current. But hey, it is better than just having a tweet that said the game was coming. We all get to see that the game is in full production and not just some pre-production limbo for now.
I, for one, was wishing that Rockstar would have deviated from the normal GTA staples and gone outside of the box - at least in the realm of game world. Keep the overall game play, but place it in some kind of different setting than modern metropolis. Hell if they went forward in time a bit to where I can carjack hover crafts and beat the living shit out of robo-hookers, I'd have been more excited about this trailer. I've done the GTA thing in major metropolises before; I was hoping the mold would have been broken.
Oh well. I guess I am just one gaming god here. The rest of the fans are most likely going to get exactly what they want. That is at least good for the masses. Enjoy the trailer.
