I woke up this morning (9/24) around 10 AM and I did my usual rounds across the internet: Facebook, Pwned, YouTube. I then checked my email and whats on top in my inbox? "Mail from The Old Republic Community - The announcement you've been waiting for" Huh, seems interesting. Curiosity drives me to see what is inside this email. I rejoice to find the release date for Star Wars: The Old Republic - one of the most anticipated MMO's of all time. Star Wars: The Old Republic comes out on December 20th, 2011 - mark your calendars, sell your kidneys and start working on a second job. Clear your calendars for the first six months of 2012 because The Old Republic will consume your soul and have you begging for more.
I have a feeling this game is going to sell faster than hotcakes after a week of fasting, so you might want to pre-order soon if you want access to the game a day early. There are three different versions for you to pre-order: Standard, Digital Deluxe and Collector's Edition.
Standard Edition: You get day early game access, a "Color Stone" which changes the color of your lightsaber and blaster bolts and 30 days of game time.
Digital Deluxe Edition: Same as the Standard Edition but also includes 5 Digital Items:

- STAP (Which is a vehicle)
Collector's Edition: Same as Standard but also includes
