Can you hear that? That's the sound of money falling from the sky and into Activision Blizzards pocket. Here is the first official look at Modern Warfare 3 in all of its glory. This is the next chapter in the record shattering franchise that is sure to get fans blood pumping. Be sure to pick it up November 8th this year, but for now check out the trailer below!
This is our first actual look at game play and I have to say it is eye candy for my brain. Not only do we see tanks and helicopter gunships, we also see mass destruction of some of the biggest cities in the world. From Manhattan, New York to Berlin, Germany, we've just entered World War 3!
With the departure (see "fired") of Modern Warfare's original creators Jason west and Vince Zampella, players were concerned that Activision's Chief Executive Bobby Kotick wasn't going to be able to pull it off. Well looking at this makes me think they're doing just fine without them.
I will definitely be picking this one up this year, and if Call Of Duty: Black Ops sales - which were $360 Million on Launch day - we may see the next record breaker this fall. Well played Mr. Kotick.
