It is in and it makes Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City look like a load of fun. The trailer also makes all of the screen shots look like there were originally working it out for the Wii. Granted, there are a lot of pre-rendered scenes in the trailer, but if you look fast, you can see the game play mixed in. From the looks of it, it looks to take RE: Outbreak and do what was originally intended for those games. Fast action and a bit of sneaking with a sprinkle of Zombies and B.O.W.s.
Also, in the clip and screens below, the Umbrella team seems to be set. You have Vector the sneak, Spectre the sniper/Tom Clancy special agent, Beltway the tank/explosives guy and Bertha the hot Russian chick. I'm sure there is more than that, but from what can be gleaned so far, that is what rounds out the Umbrella cover-up team. Oh, and I guess you can mix in the Tyrant into the mix too as he gets air dropped in for support even though it goes awry. As to be expected.
I would be a little curious on the way multiplayer is going to even things out. There is a defined team of four on the Umbrella side, a team of one on the RCP side, Leon, and an unlimited amount of U.S. Spec Ops running around. While I guess Leon could in theory team up with the Spec Ops, I doubt that will be the case. It would be interesting to see a 1x4x12 multiplayer match, but I think that won't be the case. At least as the main option for MP.
As we get more on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City we'll bring it to you. There is still a lot of time between now and the upcoming winter release. I just hope they do this right and not have another Outbreak case on their hands.
