Well it looks like the network guys over at Microsoft are looking to better improve things for the XBox LIVE users. They have not said exactly what yet, but you can be a part of this test if you so choose to. That is if you can go almost the rest of the month without online gaming with your XBox. Oh and also movies/Netflix and music downloading as well. Who does those things on the XBox anyways? Oh that's right, a good portion of us gamers out there.

Xbox LIVE Labs runs from March 10-27 and is open to all Xbox LIVE members living in the United States. You will not be able to participate in other Xbox LIVE activities, such as gaming, watching movies or downloading music, while running Xbox LIVE Labs, and your Internet connectivity may be slower than usual. Sound good? Sign into Xbox LIVE and head over to the community channel where you’ll see the Xbox LIVE Labs panel. Click on it to download the testing app and the rest is pretty much self-explanatory. |
While they are not saying exactly what is being tested or the data is used for, rest assured that your sacrifice will be rewarded. It damned well better be after giving up those amenities for a few weeks! Am I right?
Thos who participate will be rewarded with three Avatar items to show off your sacrifice. All mad scientist themed of course. Not only that, but you can get a total of three 0 point achievements to add to your gamer card as well. You know, to really show off your dedication to the XBox franchise and their online gaming.
