So just like the Transformers Game, Green Lantern is getting the same treatment with a video game tie-in. A game nicely titled Green Lantern: Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters and looks to be as tied to the film in every way but overall story. At least the below trailer would lead me to believe that it takes place somewhere mid-way or after the story the upcoming film will have.

From the looks of it, Hal will already be versed in the ways of a Lantern to fight the threat. In whatever instance though this CGI trailer and in turn the game itself are set up to be tie-ins for the film. So we should all go into this, if you do at all that is, with that knowledge outright. I mean it does look like the transferred over the character models extremely well from the film to the game, from what has been seen, but with piss poor game play and story that won't mean a damn thing.

I guess we'll see as we hit the Summer of Superheroes this year. Although I am going to be pessimistic on this as with all the other tie-in games dropping this year.
