Are you in the Culver City, CA area? Are you still playing Dance Dance Revolution? Well today Konami has announced that they will host their first Dance Dance Revolution Community Event at the Royal-T Cafe this upcoming Thursday (August 12, 2010). So if you somehow go to the event you will be for a treat. Naoki Naeda, one of the creators of the pioneering dancing game, will be attending the event not only to welcome you all but will do a special DJ set for the fans.

So why do a Dance Dance Revolution event now? With this it will launch the campaign for the brand new Dance Dance Revolution for the PS3. Dance Dance Revolution PS3 will be shown for the first time ever with Dance Dance Revolution Wii. I bet Brian is all over that one, and Dance Masters, one of Konami's first Kinect game for the XBox 360.

If I was in the area, I would so be there to check out what's new with DDR since its been while since they did anything innovative. I want to see how Dance Masters would fare with Dance Central on the Kinect.
