With the recent release of the Apple iPad, many of the Apps and Games have been coming out out for it. Plants vs. Zombies, one of PopCap success stories of 2009, is now releasing the game for the iPad in HD. Since the game has been introduced for the iPhone and iPod Touch back in February, Plants vs. Zombies has sold more than 650,000 units.
Andrew Stein, director of mobile business development at PopCap said, “The iPad is a fantastic platform for gaming, and Plants vs. Zombies HD allows us to show off the great new features and functionality of this exciting device. In this adaption, we've focused on the iPad's Multi-Touch capabilities and opportunities for new gameplay like the Buttered Popcorn mini-game that will excite both new and current players.”
This version of Plants vs. Zombies HD for the iPad will offer all 50 levels of the Adventure and Quick Play modes as well as Survival mode from the original versions for both Macs and PC. It will also include four all-new achievements from the 17 that are already in there and 18 mini-games, including Buttered Popcorn, only for the iPad.
My Take:
If I had an iPad I would buy this game in a heartbeat. But if you do have an iPad, you cannot go wrong with picking this game up for $9.99 from the App Store on iTunes.
