Just as promised, albeit a day late, here is the new secret that Funcom wanted to reveal to the world on the 25th 26th of March. That secret, how The Secret World's gameplay actually makes it look more like an action/adventure game and not an MMO. Which in this case, is extremely jaw dropping. Watch the video below and see what you think for yourself.
Now that you have seen the clip, did you not think it was a new action game? Did you forget it is going to be an MMO? I did for a split second. Be it the editing of the video, or that fact that it looks like it plays that way, but in either instance, it has me excited again for this title. Not that I wasn't in the first place, but it has pushed a lot of my doubts aside.
While I was hoping for maybe a release date or closed beta date range, this new look sates my hunger for information, for now. Granted it does say 2010 in the clip, but I'm guessing that is just Funcom's general copyright year associated with the title. But it does look good enough to be opened up to consumers soon in the form of beta. Maybe by E3.
