Resident Evil 5 Gone Gold Again

Here we go again... again. This is where the year of "Capcom forgetting how to count again" starts. At least this time when it starts it has a nice new video showcasing some of the stuff that will make us shell out more cash for games we already own. Like say, Sheva in a little red ridding hood costume and Chris looking like something from a Mad Max film. Not to mention all the extra story that justifies RE5 going into another gold phase only a year after the first version came out.

From this video, I can actually see the worth in getting the DLC when it becomes available, but not a full new version of the disc. Just the short bits they show of the Jill side of things and the back story you get to play out, it looks like I will be dusting things off to take a good play through. I mean, we get to go back through the Spencer House and some of the other locales from the very first game that the characters have yet to be to in over eight years. Right there, I am sold. At least for DLC.

I am glad that we get the option here in the states. While there is loads added into this new Gold edition, I just can't see buying a whole new set of discs just for a few more costumes and hours of gameplay. But in the end, you can decide for yourselves like big kids right? At least maybe a bit better after this video.
