Day 1 of Guitar Hero: Love Watch ...or is it day 2?

No doubt you have read the "shocking" details of Courtney Love's acrid Twitter response to Kurt Cobain's likeness being used in Guitar Hero 5. Then, you were enthralled by the report of shots fired back by Activision that Love, in fact, was the individual who signed the contract to use the likeness. And THEN you no doubt realized...you don't care. It was a seriously slow news day, folks.

Please do not misinterpret my words, if there truly is a breach of contract, I would want nothing more than reparations made, but let's face it, based on previous experience, that seems unlikely. We're talking Activision, the gigantic, mega-corporation who has licensed many rock superstars to be a part of the Guitar Hero franchise, screwed the pooch on the contract? Unless it was an evil conspiracy, my guess is no on that.

What I find the most appalling are the harsh reactions from everyone, especially in the press going either with or against Ms. Love. Like somehow this is an emotional debate for anyone but her. It is simply not necessary to continue using these emotional angles or scare tactics (like H1N1) to pull users to your site. The ethics of it all reeks tremendously.

Then again, Aggrogamer could use the readership...SWINE FLU FOR EVERYONE!
