One of the more curious titles of the year has presented a demo for PS3 owners and Xbox owners. For the uninitiated, Wet is an action game that combines shooting and swordplay with all kinds of crazy acrobatics. The main character, Rubi voiced by Elisha Dushku, carries twin pistols and a sword and does all of the fun filled John Woo-esque moves that have become standard fare in most action titles these days. One of the better elements of the gunplay is that she automatically target an additional enemy which allows some ease and versatility with your firefight strategy. She also has the ability to fuse attacks together, and your acrobatics aren't limited to flipping off of a wall, but you can substitute a person instead of the aformentioned wall.

As you can see the game oozes style and revels in its presentation. Give it a go. While graphically it may not blow you away as much as some other titles - there is definitely some fun to be had here.

The demo will take you through part of the first level and you'll be able to check out RAGE mode and a car-hopping action sequence. Add it to your Xbox 360 downloads via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Though the official site states it will be available tomorrow for all, today Major Nelson advertised it was on Xbox Live today. As far as PS3 gamers go, I would expect it to show up very soon (as it wasn't up for me when I looked earlier today).
