Want Lex's Power Suit?

Who wants some cool exclusive DC Universe swag? Who's going to be at the San Diego Comic Con or has a camera they can capture themselves with? Who can also rant for a good 30 seconds on why a character in the DC universe is the best or worst? If you fit those criteria, then do I have a new contast announcement for you.

To further push DC Universe and get more people to peruse their Comic Con booth, SOE is hosting a contest where you can rant and rave about said characters. Or you can praise and claim why you would be best friends with Batman or The Joker. Either way flies for them. All you need to do is record yourself talking about their characters and submit. Be it though their MySpace or actually at their Comic Con booth. Something they encourage apparently.

Though not listed in their official press release, below, it has been confirmed from their MySpace the prize for this contest is a nice autographed poster. A nice poster of Lex in his power suit autographed by Jim Lee and the DCUO Development team. A prize that goes to the best two entries for this contest. So if you want to have some good times and a chance at this, tape yourself and send it in. I'm going to give it a good go as to why me and the Clock King should be BFFs at the convention.

DC UNIVERSE™ ONLINE ASKS, "WHO'S YOUR DCU BFF?"

New DCUO/MySpace Video Contest Showcases Best Friends (And Foes) Forever

AUSTIN, TX — July 17, 2009 — Do you have a favorite hero or villain in the DC Comics Universe? Or do you have serious issues with the likes of Superman or Mad Hatter?

Good or bad, DC Comics and Sony Online Entertainment are giving fans a chance to express their passion for their most beloved or despised DC characters in a new video contest on DC Universe Online’s official MySpace site. Fans who visit SOE’s booth #5201 at San Diego Comic-Con, July 22-26, 2009, are encouraged to submit their videos on the spot at our BFF kiosk!

The DCUO BFF Promotion lets eligible participants submit a video of up to 30 seconds to explain why they would like to virtually meet, fight and become BFFs with their chosen character in-game.

“Whether it’s a song-and-dance tribute to the Pied Piper, or your diabolical plans to trick Mr. Mxyzptlk into saying his name backward, this is a chance to have fun and show just how creative fans can be,” said Debysue Wolfcale, global senior brand manager, Sony Online Entertainment."
