Recap A Bit Of The Story Out There Before The Release Of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

Final Fantasy

Just before the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, we have a new recap of the story so far for those dipping into the Final Fantasy VII Remake

For some, it might have been a little bit since you played through the core portion of the Final Fantasy VII Remake. I know for myself, that it has even been a good amount of time since I went through the Intergrade expansion of the story. That would lead to many forgetting certain things about the story and everything. At least for those casual gamers and not the ones that Square Enix has had locked in for a while now. Well, before we get to experience Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the PS5 this coming February 29th, we have a new story update to recap most of what you might have missed. If you did not want to take the time and go through it all one more time before the expansion launch out there.

If you need this recap, in Final Fantasy VII, we play as a few members of an ecoterrorist organization called Avalanche. They are trying to save the world from an evil company named Shinra that is trying to drain the planet of all manner of resources and are going about it all in a very mustache-twirling evil way. Our team runs into a mysterious girl and from there, Fate starts to unravel and shift. One of the world's biggest war heroes is out there trying to stop us and, in the end, we all break free to set out on a new path after changing the original plan Fate had for the world. That is one of the most basic breakdowns of it all, but you can get a little more of a recap of the Final Fantasy VII Remake story just a little lower. With a very small tinge of what is to come in the next part of the story out there.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — The Story So Far

Recap the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the first game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project trilogy.

Set in Midgar, the City of Mako, the game explores the fierce struggles between the sinister Shinra Electric Power Company and the rebel group Avalanche, as they battle for the fate of the planet.

The next installment, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will be released on PS5 on the 29th of February 2024.

A Twin Pack that contains both Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the expanded and graphically enhanced version of the first game in the series, is also available for pre-order now.

This video here is the sole reason having the Final Fantasy VII Remake dropped out in "episodes" has to be one of the worst ideas ever. Yes, it is a massive title but we have gone a long time between massive game segments and story updates for it all. Hells, we had a major console release, a full new entry into the IP, and many other remasters and remakes come out between the first "episode" and this upcoming one. While there are many recaps of the Final Fantasy VII story out there, we should not need any of them in the first place. That is my short rant on releasing games in episode format when we have to wait more than a week to get the next drop. At least we have a recap and will have another just before the full launch of this time, I am sure.

Did you need this recap for Final Fantasy VII or do you know it all by heart at this point? Did you remember how long it has been since we got the first part of all of this until we will get the next? Would you have rather waited to get the one massive game out there or do you like the slow release of each "episode" as a full game instead? Take to the comments and defy Fate by discussing all of this. When we get another bit to share for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, we will share it with you here. We might even do a full replay of the story so you can get fully up to speed before the launch of the next massive title out there. All so we can wait another three years to get the full conclusion to the new take on the story we all loved decades ago.
