Looks like Nintendo just announced a very cool little goodie for the Nintendo Wii. As of August 24th you will be able to buy Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii, all utilizing the Wii Remotes control system displayed in Metroid Prime 3.
Nintendo will be selling the bountiful package for $49.99 which is not bad for 3 games, all packed on to a single disc! You can read the press release on the Nintendo Website.
This beats out playing the original GameCube games on the Wii, and finally giving players a chance to fully enjoy all the games optimizing the motion-controls of the Wii controller. Players can expect 16:9 aspect ratios and faster loading times, which for any game player is always a great plus! Fear not my friends there will be plenty of unlockable content as well, for those interested.
So get excited, freshen up your grapple swinging skills, and trigger fingers and get ready for the Metroid adventure all over again!
