So yesterday (5/16/09) was the big day for those who want to spend time in the World...of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo. Tickets for Blizzcon went on sale yesterday and it looks like the economy has no affect, as tickets for Blizzcon sold out in 30 minutes. Apparently there is something that will get people out of the house and do something. Fortunately for us that would be Blizzcon 2009.

For those who missed their chance to get into the action for the tickets, I would not worry. You will have another chance on May 30^th. If somehow you can not make it out to Blizzcon, you can always throw more money at Blizzard by watching the event via DirecTV for $39.99.

Here’s a shocker, tickets for the event have already reached the lovely site of eBay and so far the highest buy it now price is set at $1,499. Highest bid as this story was being written is at $910. Hey Blizzard you might want to take a look at this and actually do something. Just throwing it out there Blizzard. Other than that I hope to see some of you there. FOR THE HORDE!!!
