by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A new video for Metal Gear Survive is here to show off more of the game and just where Metal Gear Survive falls in the story of the overall IP All of those little bits for Metal Gear Survive were nice and all, but now it is time to get some real substance for the game. There have been many things still questions about it all ever since Konami announced it was coming and gave us all a first look at it. With it hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on February 20th, as we assumed before, now is the time to get more of the details out there and that is what we have here for you. New Details For God Of War Have Been Floated Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Out at PSX God Of War was on display with the same trailer we have had, but there were new details for God Of War mixed in One of the things that many people were hoping to hear out of this year's PSX was a solid release date or any real update to God Of War since we had the new trailer out of Paris Games Week. Sadly, the event has come and gone and very little else was doled out there from Santa Monica Studio for it all. The developers did have a nice little sit down to discuss the game as well as a few extra words on the gameplay clip we had back in October. Read More…

Resident Evil 7 Is Bringing Gold & Now Joe Baker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
The gold edition for Resident Evil 7 is here and now we have a new look at Joe Baker for Resident Evil 7 and just what he is looking to do Today is the day that Resident Evil 7's Gold Edition is hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and that means that all of the DLC we have been waiting for is also hitting the systems to fill out the game just a bit more. That's right, as well as this big bundle for the game that Capcom has for us, they also have all of the DLC out there from the Not A Hero bit where we take on the role of Chris Redfield again, but also the "found footage" part where we get to meet Joe Baker. Yes, there is one more to the clan of villains in Resident Evil 7 and this just happens to be the grizzled man we have seen in the past teasers for the DLC. Read More…

All Hope May Not Be Lost In Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Metro Exodus shows how hope may not be lost in the game's universe and also maybe the release date for Metro Exodus During The Game Awards we had a nice new look at Metro Exodus and a bit more of how the game's world has progressed from where we last left it and all of the horrors that laid within. Things have always been bleak in the world that 4A Games has brought to life in this FPS, but this latest trailer looks to give us all a little bit of hope. At least that seems to be the theme here in this trailer and whether or not that is true, we at least get a fun new look at Metro Exodus and just what is going on. Read More…

See How Successful We Can Be In Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Another gameplay walkthrough for Detroit: Become Human happened during the PSX and we get to see the devs be successful in Detroit: Become Human There was no chance of having the PlayStation Experience this year without adding in the fun of Detroit: Become Human. Especially with it still slated to release during the first half of 2018 as long as there are no hiccups for Quantic Dream or anything. It is still possible, but that does not change the fact that there was a chance to check out the same old game demo we have been getting since E3 for Detroit: Become Human. The big twist here is that the team showed off a more successful version of the demo that they have in the past. Read More…

MediEvil Is Officially Getting A Remaster For The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
It looks like a proper MediEvil remaster is coming as a 4K version of MediEvil was announced during this year's PlayStation Experience Back in 2015, rumors began to circle that there was a MediEvil remake or remaster in the works when a video popped up online showing just that. Everyone swarmed to it thinking it was the case but as it turned out this was just a fan remaking a level in Unreal 4 for fun and not something that Sony was officially working on for the PS4. It was sad to see that, but this version of MediEvil looked amazing and rekindled a lot of hope of getting a new title out of all of it. As it turns out, that excitement and interest was noticed as we are now getting a full remaster of the game on the PS4 sometime in 2018 now. Read More…

Overkill’s The Walking Dead Introduces Us To Aidan & The Game Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
New updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead are finally here and we get a taste of what life in this FPS set in The Walking Dead universe will feel It has been quite some time that we had any updates for Overkill’s The Walking Dead title that we heard about back in 2015. It is still in the works and Starbreeze with 505 Games is still bringing it to us on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All of that and Overkill is still working hard on it and is finally ready to show off more of their take on The Walking Dead universe. All in a cinematic way, but given that the game is now slated for Fall of 2018, we still have some time to get all of those extra details and bit of gameplay to get us all excited for this game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of December 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you think you are about done with all of those video games by the end of the year, we get a week like the one we just had. So much happened yet again and we have yet to get into the PSX this weekend. Even The Game Awards had a whole lot of new video games announced and shown off in the mix. Almost more than the announcements of the winners if you ask me. Read More…

A New Dark Fantasy First-Person Title Is Coming In The Way Of Witchfire
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
A new title form The Astronauts is in the works called Witchfire and not much is known about what Witchfire actually is as of yet Just in case you were sitting around wondering what The Astronauts have been up to as of late, we have the answer to that and it is working on Witchfire. Yes, that is the name of their new game that is in the works for the PC and a good portion of what we know about the game so far. Outside of the short trailer that was shown off during The Game Awards, that gave us all a small look at what we could expect. More or less, it is a first-person shooter in a dark fantasy world that has elements of the real world in it. Read More…

Death Stranding Gets Even Stranger With Its Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Another gameplay trailer for Death Stranding was shown off and it raises many questions with few answers for Death Stranding Just as we have had for the last few outings of The Game Awards, we have another new trailer for Death Stranding to look at here and try to figure out. Things have been very strange and hush since Kojima Productions announced the game so long ago and with each new view, this PS4 title seems to baffle and confuse. At least the trailers do as they make little to no sense, but given who is making Death Stranding I guess it works. Just think back to all of those MGSV trailers and tell me how those made sense when out of context for the core game. Read More…

More Zombies Are Coming As World War Z Gets Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
During The Game Awards last night, World War Z, was announced so we could further diving into the world of World War Z with new stories If you were watching The Game Awards last night then you most likely saw the nice little tease for World War Z. Not the next film from Paramount, but the new video game coming to us from Saber Interactive. It is all set in the World War Z film universe, but other than that it does not seem to be linked to anything we have seen thus far. We already lived that story and do not need to go through it again in game form on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More…

Far Cry 5 Has Been Delayed As Well As The Crew 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Sadly, it looks like Far Cry 5 and The Crew 2 have been pushed out a month so we get the best version of Far Cry 5 that is possible The wait for Far Cry 5 continues as it has now been delayed. Sad news indeed, but thankfully it has only been delayed for a month or so that way Ubisoft can try to bring us some additional improvements to the game. What those improvements are is anyone's guess, but that is what we have here and why the game has been delayed. Let us just hope that it is not to add some things to Far Cry 5 that no one ever wanted but they think we do. Read More…

That is all we get for now as it looks like the publisher is trying out a new marketing plan to start showing things off closer to the launch. Read More…

Meet Injustice 2's Atom Again Just Before He Hits The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Another look at Atom is here for Injustice 2, even though we saw him earlier, but this time with more Injustice 2 gameplay This all may feel a bit familiar for Injustice 2, but here we go with another good look at Atom just before he lands in the game here on December 12th. We had a look at him back in October when NetherRealm Studios opted to show off the worst hidden character in the Fighter Pack 3 DLC, but that was just a small showing (pun intended) just to give a taste. He looked cool, but mainly just did what we expected in Injustice 2 by shrinking, growing, and having his blasts to take down his opponents. That and we also are to see that we are not getting the Ray Palmer version of the character but the Ryan Choi version of the character. Read More…

Review — Minecraft: Story Mode — Jailhouse Block
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Minecraft: Story Mode — Jailhouse Block. This is the third episode of Telltale's second take on Mojang's famed Minecraft franchise. Here's our review on how they did The story continues for Jesse and crew as the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode is underway for us. It has been a weird ride for us yet again with this game and season, but here we go with yet one more episode in the mix. No doubt, this should be one of the ones that set things up for the future if it goes along the path of other Telltale Games' titles out there, but that could be in the next episode as well.
