A new survival RPG game, Smoke And Sacrifice, has been announced and to help Smoke And Sacrifice stand out it looks like the game will be hand-illustrated too Hey survival RPG fans. We have another title to keep an eye on here as Smoke And Sacrifice has just been given the announcement treatment and heading to the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC sometime this year. It may have taken a bit of time for Solar Sail Games to get the announcement out there, but now we have our first look at this game and just how it will add to the genre and hopefully push it beyond. Right out of the gate, it looks like Smoke And Sacrifice is going to try that by having the visuals of the game have the hand-illustrated look to them all. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The next deity for Nightmarchers is here and showing off the powers that Milu will grant us in Nightmarchers that will be all covered in death Hopefully you are ready for the next of the Hawaiian deities of Nightmarchers to be shown off to you as that is what we have here. Granted, you most likely would not have clicked in here if you did not want to see what Wyrmbyte Studios had for us this time, but that does not change the content at all. More so as this time we get a good look at the ruler of the dead in Nightmarchers and the abilities granted when Milu is freed in the game. That is at least how it sounds like these will come and not just be available from the start. Read More…

Space Hulk: Tactics Is Announced & Bringing A New Twist To Space Hulk
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A new twist on the Space Hulk franchise has been announced and coming sometime in the near future in terms of Space Hulk: Tactics Another title in the Warhammer 40k franchise is coming here as we have Space Hulk: Tactics announced for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It looks like the people over at Cyanide Studio is riding the success from their past titles even further as Focus Home Interactive has optioned them to bring this game to us all based off the tabletop game of the similar name. Drop the tactics part off of Space Hulk: Tactics and you will be on point there for what I am talking about. But more or less, it will be the same turn-based title that you could expect but with some twists to make it not a simple port over to the video game world from the physical one. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 1/29/18 — 2/2/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 3rd of February 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and a whole lot going on for all of our video games yet again. Also a lot more on the positive side of the coin this week and not as many sad points. Sure, Red Dead Redemption 2 is now delayed until October of this year, but that does not take away from the fact that we have so many other things going on. Like the fact that Extinction now has a set date and some great pre-order bonuses or that we had some great new DLC drop for Wolfenstein II. Read More…

The Peterson Case Will Show Us The Horrors That Could Have Been At Roswell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
New gameplay for The Peterson Case is here to help us see how the Roswell incident could have been a true horror show and not all fun and games Almost everyone out there has heard of the Roswell UFO incident and what happened out there. If not then get ready for a whole new take on it with The Peterson Case as it is taking that whole event and turning it into a dark horror title instead of the happy Sci-Fi thing that pop culture has made it. This is not the first announcement for the game that Quarter Circle Games has made for the game, but here we do have some great new gameplay footage to see and get a feel for just what to expect in The Peterson Case when it does come to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date or window has still not be set, but good things take time and from what I can see here that is just the case. Read More…

Far Cry 5’s Story Shows What God Gives, Man Can Never Take Away
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
More of Far Cry 5’s story is being detailed out in a new trailer and we have a look at Far Cry 5’s Season Pass that will hold some great things We have had some fun looks at the story of Far Cry 5 so far, but now we get a much deeper look at the insanity that is going on in Hope County and why they all need us to help save the day. In the past we have heard and seen a lot of the work that Ubisoft had done to get the religious cult aspect feeling just right in the game as well as the environment. Up to now, it was a little 'iffy' for me on that side, but now that we have this new trailer to see, I think that Far Cry 5 is hitting the horrors and insanity on the head. Read More…

New Gameplay For Hunt: Showdown Straight From The Closed Alpha
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The closed alpha for Hunt: Showdown is on and now we are getting a whole lot more to see for Hunt: Showdown in its raw form As of yesterday (1/31/18) the closed alpha test for Hunt: Showdown was in full swing. Random participants who signed up for a chance have started to be selected by Crytek to join in the fun and, of course, select content creators have also been given access. While the primary goal of this is to help shape Hunt: Showdown into the game that we all want, it is also to help promote the game and get more gamers excited to join in all of the fun. That makes it sound like the team has not already done a great job doing that, but that is not the case at all. Read More…

We May Be More Human Than We Though After All In Vampyr
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The third of the behind the scenes videos for Vampyr is out there now and this one gives us a bit more on the human element we will have to tussle within Vampyr Here we go with just a bit more for Vampyr as the third episode of the behind the scenes series is out there now and showing us a bit more on how Jonathan will still be human after he is turned. DontNod has been pretty forthcoming with the fact that every NPC in the game will have some kind of meaning and each death will have its toll on the overall story. That is why it does not come as much of a surprise that this is the focus again for Vampyr here but with a few new bits of gameplay and interesting facts about the "human" element we are going to experience in the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Delayed A Bit But Has A Release Date Set
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A delay has hit Red Dead Redemption 2 but now we have a new solid date to expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to launch on as well as some new screenshots The wait continues for Red Dead Redemption 2, but now we have a new solid release date for the game. As is usually the reason given for delays, it looks like Rockstar Games needs some more time to "polish" the game a bit more. Yes, the same polish excuse as usual. That said, we can now look for Red Dead Redemption 2 to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th now. Read More…
