A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Even as I am writing this little update, the week is still going strong, and so many video games are getting announced and revealed out there. Partially, as the Summer Game Fest continues on, along with the IGN Live event that will go down over the weekend. We cannot allow that to take away from the big things we saw this week with God Of War Laufey, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Until Dawn 2 getting a showcase during the week, but that does mean that the week is not fully over. The next of the main game reveals for the IP with Infinity Ward behind the wheel of it all. One of the better versions of the IP, in my opinion, and it looks as if they are striving to keep that a constant out there. Get ready to head into Silent Hill very soon, with the release date now set for Silent Hill: Townfall to open up It certainly looks as if this Halloween is going to be stacked with horror games, with Silent Hill: Townfall getting a release date that will place it in our homes around that time. No, not on the day specifically, but with Screen Burn and Konami getting a little ahead of all of the season with the game landing on the PS5 and PC on September 24th. The Story Is Starting To Spread Out There For The Upcoming ILL

A new bit of the story for ILL is on display, and we can get a little more to understand why we are walking in ILL We have had some fun thinking about ILL after it was first revealed to us all, but now we have something a little more specific to take in for the game to get us ready for the 2027 release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Okay, maybe that is a little far off into the future, but Team Clout is ready to show us all a bit of the story beyond the horror that we are going to take in. The Gameplay Is Getting Very Bloody Out There For Marvel’s Wolverine

A new and extended bit of gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine is here, and it is giving us the Wolverine we have all wanted We knew it was coming, and gods did Insomniac Games deliver on the promise to show us all more for Marvel’s Wolverine. Given that the game is still slated for release on September 15th for the PS5, it makes sense that they would push it all at this point and give us seven minutes of fun gameplay to look at. It is not raw gameplay, but it is something for us to stick our claws into and see how Wolverine is coming to life in this game. The next part of the God Of War saga has been revealed, with loads of new gameplay for God Of War Laufey It feels like we all knew it was coming, but it still hit so hard with the announcement, reveal, and gameplay we now have for God Of War Laufey. The next title in the saga that Santa Monica Studio is working on, and as the title tells us, it will be a story all about Faye. Not a backstory, specifically, but what happened to her after the scene that we had in the 2018 title.
