According to an interview with Todd Harris the COO of Hi-Rez Studios has announced a closed beta for Tribes: Ascend will begin November 4th! The confirmation came during an interview with Cyberlink.
I got my hands-on with Tribes: Ascend at this year's Quakecon: 2011 and it is as close to the original that any game could get.
