More Smokin’ Sick Stylish Combos As Devil May Cry HD Collection Is Almost Here

Devil May Cry

A new trailer for the Devil May Cry HD Collection is here and it looks like we will also be getting a free version of Devil May Cry as we wait for launch

Here we go with yet another trailer to remind us that another remaster collection of old games is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with Devil May Cry HD Collection. If you were not in the know on this yet, Capcom is bundling together the first three titles in the franchise into one nice set and giving it the HD upgrade to run on all of those newer consoles out there. Not the biggest of shockers and now we will be able to play pretty much the whole Devil May Cry franchise on one system. At least until the next systems come out and none of them keep the backward play we want thus making us have to re-purchase our loved older titles. But I digress again…

There is a new trailer for the Devil May Cry HD Collection just below, but what seems to be the bigger news here is that we will be getting the first game in the collection for free. At least if you are aiming to play it on your PC and not the console and that you log into Twitch during the limited time it will be free there. You do not need to rush over there just yet as you will not be able to claim Devil May Cry until February 27th. How long it will be free up there has not been stated, but now you know the day to go and get it. Then you will not need to know when it will come down from being free for those PC gamers out there.

The Devil May Cry HD Collection is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 13th. It will house Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition. Even though all the games are supposed to be running at 1080/60FPS, it does not look like the character models, environments, and textures have been given much of an upgrade from the PS3/360 version that came out about five years ago. More or less, this seems like a collection to just get all of your DMC titles in one location. At least one of them will be free though.

Devil May Cry HD Collection — Smokin’ Sick Stylish Combos

Devil May Cry HD Collection is just a month away from its release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One… but we want to kick this party off a little early. Here’s how you can get in on it:

Starting on February 27, we’re letting you play the very first Devil May Cry for free! This limited-time offer will get you the PC version of the game through the Twitch Desktop App, where you’ll also be able to purchase the full collection. Visit Twitch.tv on the 27th, log in to your Twitch Prime account and claim the original Devil May Cry for free. There’s even a free trial you can sign up for at twitchprime.com.

And to hold you over for the next two weeks, above is a brand new trailer featuring some Smokin’ Sick Stylish Combos.

Devil May Cry HD Collection includes the first three Devil May Cry games and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 13th, 2018 both digitally and at retail for $29.99 USD.

Are you ready and looking to pick up the Devil May Cry HD Collection in March? Do you agree that all of the visuals look about the same as the last time the bundle was released or do they look better to you? Are you glad that at least one of them will be coming to us for free on the PC or should we just move on and look for a full sequel to come instead? Give us all of your thoughts on this and more down in the comments and then discuss. For more on this and Devil May Cry in general, be sure to keep checking in on the site.
