The Killing Floor 2 Is Being Shown Off With Those 4K Resolutions

Killing Floor 2

New gameplay for the Killing Floor 2 has been released and we can see all of those upgrades talked about for the Killing Floor 2 on the PS Pro

Well the Killing Floor 2 is about to launch here on November the 18th and it looks like we finally have a look at the upgraded visuals are going to look like on the PS4 Pro and PCs that can handle it all. Of course, here Tripwire Interactive is focusing in on the PlayStation version of the game and now we can see it in 4K running at its top speeds. As if we couldn't get enough of Killing Floor 2 here in the past we at least get something to pine over as we wait. Only a few more weeks now and we can see what all of the anticipation was for. At least for fans of the IP.

Sadly, with this new video for Killing Floor 2 there isn't much else to go along with it. Then again I guess all of the amazing visuals should be just enough but it would be nice to get some explanations on what is happening here as we only get to see what looks like three different maps and the same set of monsters over and over. That could all be to keep the good stuff chambered until launch but it doesn't do too much for those craving more or looking for something that won't require a beast of a machine to run at its best. None the less, here's you sample of it all.

Killing Floor 2 — PS4 Pro Gameplay

The PlayStation 4 Pro version of Killing Floor 2 features the following enhancements:

  • 1800p checkboard rendering on 4K TV (3200x1800) optimized for 4K TVs
  • Effectively supersampling and increased fps on HDTV
  • Using additional memory to increased texture resolution to "Ultra Textures"

Killing Floor 2 is developed by Tripwire Interactive and will be published by Deep Silver and Iceberg Interactive for the PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game will be available globally on November 18, 2016.
