That's right ladies and gentlemen - Rush's twenty minute long epic "2112" is finally coming to Rock Band. The masterpiece will be available for download on December 31st. PS3 and XBox 360 users will have the option to either purchase and play each song separately or get the whole twenty minute "eargasm" as one song. If you decide to buy the songs separately the epic will be split up into three "songs." The first one featuring "Overture" and "The Temple of Syrnix." The second song will have "Discovery" and "Presentation." The final song has "Oracle: The Dream" "Soliloquy" and "Grand Finale." If you purchase the entire thing as one song you get free upgrades to Pro Guitar and Pro Bass.
For those of you who don't know who Rush is and/or live under a rock: Rush is a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 and for over forty years have released nineteen studio albums, eight live albums and eight compilation albums. Selling twenty-four gold (500,000) records, fourteen platinum (1,000,000) records and three of which went multi-platinum. Rush is arguably one of the best progressive rock bands ever, but that's just my inner fan-boy talking.
