So if you skip on below, after reading that is, you will see the new trailer for the next Silent Hill game nicely titled Silent Hill 8; at least the working title for now. This is what was shown to those in the horribly failed Konami Press event. At least as far as the presenters and a few titles go, it was failed. But this trailer did not seem to add to that failure at all.

The trailer starts off like you would expect, a few people driving through a storm at night in the middle of nowhere. The only difference is that these people are a few inmates and the correctional officers in charge of them. Wouldn't you know it, one of them is nodding off and having some pretty weird waking dreams; those dreams of course, some actions and events going on in some weird town. Only to be awoken just as the transport is passing a "Welcome To Silent Hill" sign.

No before you haters start to go off on how this looks like an Alan Wake clone, use Google and realize that you argument makes it a clone of a game that was a clone of this franchise in the first place. I confuse you? Good. It is in line with the Silent Hill franchise. But enough of that. Enjoy the clip.
