Maybe I am forgetting what happened in the 1981 version of Clash of The Titans, but I don't remember there being frog people challenging Perseus. It was a long time ago, but I still have no recollection of that. Please correct me if I am wrong. But in any instance, Perseus looks to be taking on frog people in the new game based on the remake of the classic Clash of The Titans. On top of our amphibian friends, it looks like a load of other new creatures were also made just for the game.

Which continues the question I posed before, is this loosely based off a remake that looks loosely based off the original? I mean, frog people? Goat boys? Cerberus? None of these ring any bells for me. Well Calibos was close to a goat boy, but not like they are showing in the screens here. It's possible (though unlikely)  they really did a number on his look or took away the midget and replaced him with goat boy. But that would be taking away one of nature's little punch lines.

I guess we will all have to look at this game as its own title and not link it to the films just to keep from getting confused. Either that or it's God of War Really Light. Like .5 K Calories. (Kratos Calories). We'll find out in the coming weeks.
