EA announces today Dead Space 2... again.... formally this time....  That's right your favorite silent hero Isaac Clarke is making a comeback. Although certain people who will remain nameless *cough* Glenn Schofield *cough* have already mentioned back in October that Dead Space would be getting a sequel, it seems Visceral Games wanted an actual press release, just to make it all official and fancy.

Visceral Games (Previously known as EA Redwood Shores) have much to say about the new title:

“We’re thrilled to jump back into the series, making the next chapter in Isaac’s journey. The infection continues to spread throughout space and our hero Isaac Clarke is the only person able to contain it. There are still loads of necromorphs that need killing!” said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer of Dead Space 2. “In Dead Space 2, not everything is exactly as it seems. Expect plot twists that will surprise you and a huge cast of twisted, disgusting monsters that are sure to scare the daylights out of you.”

So right...same game as before, more scary monsters. Check. dark spooky corridors.  Check. Mute guy out in space. Check. I feel i've played this game before?

So far it is coming back on the usual consoles Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, so no big surprises there.  No details or release date has been announced, and i don't expect to see any time soon, i mean they technically didn't even announce it until today...technically.
