by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Harmonix, and in turn Rock Band, have entered a new co-publishing agreement that could me new Rock Band 4 features and new hardware to rock with If you were thinking that all you were going to get for Rock Band 4 as we pressed on was only going to be new tracks and minor updates to the game then you may have been right. It did seem that way as after the last major update it looked like Harmonix was kind of in a tough spot and just trying to stay afloat for all of the fans out there. Hells they are still working on a PC version of the game and don't forget Rock Band VR. Read More…

Gameplay For Vampyr Has Made It Out Of The Coffin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for Vampyr has made it online with a bit of a developer overview to let us see how Vampyr may run in its final form So far we have been given very little for Vampyr and at most it has been concept art and screenshots. Little is still known to the mass public on what Dontnod is building here outside of the very basics. It is a vampire game set in the era of the early 1900's in London. Also our choices on whom we kill are going to matter. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. We now have an official release date for the game and it looks like it is a lot sooner than many though that Blizzard would have it done by. None the less we can all be happy to see Overwatch landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. It is still a bit of the way out there but I am sure that the time will fly as we wait to give this game a solid go and a chance. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The first free content update for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is coming and it looks to bring much more to the Plants Vs Zombies world and gameplay Barely a few weeks out from the original launch of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and it looks like we are getting our first big update for the game. Just like the game before is looks like PopCap Games is still churning out all of new content we could ever want. Well that is a bit of a stretch as I am sure EA won't fund everything that would ever want but at least Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is getting a new big drop of content here on March 8th and for the low price of Free. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 5th of March 2016 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There goes another fun week in video games in the bag now. Again it had its high and its lows but we made it through. Of course that did mean that we had to watch as Uncharted 4 got hit with yet another delay and only a few sparse details for Vampyr. It did also mean that we got to see more cool kills for Friday The 13th: The Game and a huge collector's edition for Homefront: the Revolution get announced. Like I said, it had its highs and it had its lows. Read More…

Dying Light is getting even larger now as now with Dying Light: The Following we are getting four community maps to all of the platforms and not just PC Just when you thought that Dying Light: The Following couldn't get any larger on all platforms it looks like it is. Maybe you remember back when Techland offered up the developer tools to the PC community and modders went crazy making some awesome stuff? Remember when people like me speculated on if the console players would ever get to see these new maps being built? If you do or you don't it doesn't matter as it looks like Dying Light on the PS4 and Xbox One are now going to be getting some of these maps and we have the first four to look at. Read More…

Paragon Will Be Going Into 'Early Access' Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Paragon is heading to an early access stage and players can give Paragon or pay to make sure they keep all of their progress when the game fully launches The beta for Paragon is still going strong but it looks like there is a need for more players to access and help shape the game into what they want. Due to the latter there is looks like Epic Games is now taking Paragon into and 'Early Access' state where players will be able to pay to gain access but the bonus being that they won't lose anything when all is said and done. That and they will gain a whole lot of little extras to show off that they helped make this the MOBA to play on the PC and PS4. Read More…

The Battleborn Cast Is All Here Now With Last 2 Badasses
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
The last two characters for Battleborn have been revealed and now we know the full launch roster of heroes coming to Battleborn and their moves The final two characters for Battleborn have now been revealed and we can take in all of the 25 launch badasses coming to the game. Of course we finish off with these two as they are described as the most absurd that Gearbox has put together for the game. A luchador and an old robotics genius who is too lazy to do a thing. Sounds about right for Battleborn given all of the other characters in there already. Read More…

The Division Will Expand & Grow Over The Next Foreseeable Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The first expansions and updates for The Division have been announced and all part of the recently announced Season Pass for The Division We all knew that The Division was going to be getting a Season Pass and that it was going to be coming with at least three expansions for the game. It wouldn't be an Ubisoft title if it didn't have some form of DLC to entice gamers to drop more cash. As it is releasing next week, March 8th, it was looking like all we were going to be hearing about in detail was the first expansion and then we would have to wait and see what was coming for The Division. Mirror's Edge Catalyst Shows Off How To Hit & Move
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Two more gameplay trailers for Mirror's Edge Catalyst have been release and the both emphasize on the huge improvements from Mirror's Edge on combat and movement More gameplay for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has seeped out into the world and is ready for our digestion. This time we get to see how DICE perfected the combat and movement aspects of the game from where they once were. Not that there was a huge issue on any of the in my book but as long as EA is paying for it they might as well make some improvements. We wouldn't want to pay for something that we already had right? NightCry Is Looking To Terrify Sometime This Spring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
After a nice little alpha demo of NightCry it looks like the development team is prepping for a Spring release for NightCry on the PC Last year we were able to see that NightCry was funded and in the works from Nude Maker studios. There was a lot of rejoice as many, myself included, loved the Clock Tower games that this was game was going to be building off even if it wasn't a direct sequel. As Kickstarter campaigns go of course we were all updated with a few things during the time of success and now and if some of those backers had been keeping a close eye they would have seen a nice little alpha slice of NightCry to have been played all last month. It looks like things went well and the feedback that was given was helpful as it looks like the PC build of NightCry is now well on its way to release in the next few months. Read More…

New Hitman Trailer Gives Us A Feel For How Grand Maps Will Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of March 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Hitman has been released and it shows off how large the maps of the first two missions of Hitman will be as well as diverse Since Hitman is just about a week out from launch it looks like it is time to beat the dead horse again in terms of how large the maps are going to be in the game. This has been something that Io Interactive has been touting since the first time we heard they were making another addition into the franchise and it is back yet again. The real bonus here being that the Season Premiere trailer for Hitman does give us another look and the maps do look rather large based on all of that. Read More…
