by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Two more characters have been added to the Injustice 2 roster with a classic character coming back for Injustice 2 and a new one joining the ranks Here we go with another big gaming convention and yet another two more characters added to the list for Injustice 2. Keeping with their tradition it looks like NetherRealm Studios has given us yet another alum to the franchise and another major character making their debut. All in time to link into the most recent big budget film that Warner Bros. has put out there; Suicide Squad. Read More…

It's Time To See If BioShock: The Collection Has Been Upgraded Perfectly
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A new comparison video for BioShock: The Collection has been released and now we can see if the original BioShock titles have been upgraded enough to justify the collection It took so long for BioShock: The Collection to finally get the announcement and date for us but now that September 13th is quickly approaching it would be nice to see if there is good reason to repurchase all of these titles again. I'm sure 2K Games would want me to tell you that you have to right now but that wouldn't dictate if Blind Squirrel did an amazing job or not. There are three BioShock titles here that needed some touchups and now we have a good view at the upgrades that have been done from the originals. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The zombie mode for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been revealed and it looks like this version of Call Of Duty's favorite mode goes to the 80's We all knew it was coming and now we have the reveal of Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare's new zombie mode that will be coming with the game when it launches on November 4th. This can't be a huge surprise as Activision has had the mode added into all of its versions of this IP and Infinity Ward is bringing it yet again. As seems to be the trend as of late it looks like Call Of Duty is getting an 80's theme to it all because it is coming back and staying yet again. Read More…

Resident Evil 7 Gets More 'Found Footage' & Story Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Resident Evil 7 has been released and we get to see more on the story of Resident Evil 7 than we previously thought before Hopefully by now you've had a chance to give the Resident Evil 7 demo a run for its money and had a chance to see just how the game is going to play out. If anything you've at least seen some of the footage that Capcom has already pumped out there so far but have yet to explain any of the story. This would be the bigger reason why a lot of people don't think that Resident Evil 7 is going to be a "zombie" game still but more of a ghost story. Read More…

Take A Trip Into Madness With New Gameplay For Agony
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for horror tittle Agony has been released and it show just how twisted Agony will be when it finally launches for us all Back just before E3 we had a look at a new horror title by the name of Agony. This would be a first-person title in the works from Madmind Studio that places us in the depths of Hell with no memory of how we got there but the ability to control other human souls and the low-level demons we come across. All of which is just to be able to scrape our way out of Hell and back to wherever that may lead. But as the name Agony states, it won't be easy and one hellish of a journey. Read More…

Newish Gameplay For South Park: The Fractured But Whole Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Right out of Gamescom we have some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay and get to see just how the heroes will be saving South Park in their own way We all heard about what could be at Gamescom from South Park: The Fractured But Whole in terms of the experience and getting farts in your face. For those who can't be on the show floor and experience just that, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to give us yet another trailer for the game spliced with a bit more new gameplay. It does have a lot that we've already seen or heard for South Park already but it does show off some of the combat we'll experience when we choose our creation story, or are told it, when the game launches on December 6th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's Time To Push A Lot More Final Fantasy XV Into Our Brains
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Final Fantasy XV has been released and it shows off almost every aspect of Final Fantasy XV we have heard and then some Yesterday we had some very sad news for Final Fantasy XV as it was delayed until November 29th. We won't go into all the details on that as we had it all from Square Enix yesterday. One little tidbit that was nicely added in with the delay of Final Fantasy XV was the fact that we were going to get a solid new video for the game to look at as we wait. It was stated to be about a half hour long but as it turns out we have almost twice that as now we have a nice long gameplay video to look at and it has all kinds of new details. Read More…

Battlefield 1 Calls In The Calvary With The Latest Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
New Battlefield 1 gameplay has been shown off out of Gamescom and we get to see how Battlefield 1 will call in the mounted units and deal with the desert So far we've seen a whole lot of Battlefield 1 gameplay that takes place in some nice little towns or green fields. Of course since this is a WWI title from DICE and we know that it took place on a more global scale than most want to think, I guess it is high time that EA gives us something that shows off some of the other lands out there that we are going to be warring through. Now we get a good solid look at some desert landscape in Battlefield 1 as well as all of the other issues and details that we'll have to face in the game when it lands on October 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course we can all speculate as to the actual location this portion of the war was fought in but since it isn't defined here we'll just keep it vague. Read More…

Now We Can See The Big Mafia 3 Heist That Started It All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
A new Mafia 3 trailer has been released out of Gamescom and it looks like it is what starts the Mafia 3 story off with a huge bang It seems like we can't go a half a week without another new Mafia 3 trailer or update and that is a good thing. If it was kept silent then it would seem more and more like 2K Games has no faith in what Hangar 13 has put together for us but here is seems like they want to get fully behind it. That all said, here we have yet another trailer for Mafia 3 right out of Gamescom and it is one that I think we've all been waiting for. This one shows us just how the whole story is going to start off with a huge bang and exactly why Lincoln is on his rampage. Read More…

See What It's Like To Wear The Cowl In Batman: Arkham VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
A new look at Batman: Arkham VR shows us all a bit of the gameplay as well as what it may be like to become Batman in the Arkham franchise There has been a lot of buzz around Batman: Arkham VR since it was first announced and so very few fans have been able to fully experience this PlayStation VR exclusive game/experience. Even out of SDCC it looks like only about 500 fans had a chance to give Rocksteady Games' run in the VR space a try and it has been a lot few out of E3 where Warner Bros. brought the same thing. It is sad but that is the call that Bethesda has made and we are all going to have to deal with it. At least the last bit of DLC for Fallout 4 will be taking us all to the famed Nuka-World for all the games, rides, prizes, and surprises it will have in store. Read More…

Have A Drink As Final Fantasy XV Has Been Delayed A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for Final Fantasy XV has been pushed out and we won't be seeing Final Fantasy XV until around this Holiday Season This all started out as a small rumor over the weekend but it looks like these Final Fantasy XV rumors have ended up being true. As it looks, it doesn't look like Square Enix will be bringing us the game on September 30th anymore as it has been hit with a delay of sorts. Yes, it is sad but Final Fantasy XV has now been delayed until November 29th worldwide for the PS4 and Xbox One. Just about two months and with most of it being listed with the most generic of reasons of "needing more polish" to make it the best version of the game ever. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 8/8/16 — 8/12/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Another solid week in video games in the bag and damn this one was filled with a lot of exciting things. We were able to get out our reviews for Adr1ft and Batman from Telltale and we also were able to see THQ come back into form in a small way. Also a whole lot of updates to other video games like Gears Of War 4 and Resident Evil 7 for us all to chew on. We are also so very close to another huge gaming convention here too that will most likely come with a whole lot of other news and tidbits all their own. Read More…

THQ Is Back In Action Thanks To Nordic Games & Rebranding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
In an interesting turn of events THQ is sort of back as Nordic Games has rebranded itself to THQ Nordic and has a load of games in development Talk about a way to end this week on as it looks like THQ is coming back after shutting down back in 2013. Not the direct company and employees that were let go but it looks like Nordic Games has chosen to rebrand themselves now they own the rights to a whole lot of successful IPs and names they picked up back then. Their new name is now THQ Nordic and they are coming out swinging with some amazing news. Some of that news being that they have at least 13 titles in the works already that we have yet to hear about and many others that we should all know very well by now. Read More…

Robinson: The Journey Will Take Us All On A Brand New Journey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of August 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
The first developer diary for Robinson: The Journey has been released and we can see how Robinson: The Journey has been crafted for PlayStation VR from the start Maybe you've heard of Robinson: The Journey or maybe you haven't. This would be the new PlayStation VR experience that Crytek has been working on that will take us into the land of dinosaurs and hopefully let us have the best experience ever. That would be the long and short of Robinson: The Journey as there still is no release date or much in ways of gameplay mechanics but we do have a new behind the scenes video to look at to see just how the game has been crafted to give us a true experience and game at the same time. It looks and more and more like a form of Jurassic Park to me though. Read More…
