Virtually Protect The Streets Of Gotham Within Batman: Arkham Shadow

Batman

A new VR Batman title is on the way to us all with the official reveal of Batman: Arkham Shadow coming to the Meta Quest

Gotham needs saving, again, and this time we get to don the cape and cowl with the announcement of Batman: Arkham Shadow. A new VR title for the Meta Quest 3 coming out of Camouflaj later this year. This would be the same team that brought other superhero IPs to life in VR and now it is time to work some magic over on the DC side of it all. All so gamers can get a different experience with Batman again and see if they can live up to the legend of the caped crusader which can be rather hard to do. All of this while maybe expanding out more of the story that has been going on for a while now if we are lucky… even if I am sure that this will be its own true thing.

Not much has been divulged beyond the above for Batman: Arkham Shadow with a bigger showcase coming during the Summer Game Fest this June. The following teaser for it all does show a version of the character feeling in line with the Rocksteady titles, but I am sure that is only going to be in the name and not in canon for all of that. There is a weird focus on rats in this video, so maybe we can think Pied Piper or Ratcatcher will be the main antagonist in this one. Batman has so many villains that can be selected, though, so it is hard to tell at this point. Have a look and see if you can figure out anything further before June rolls up on us.

What do you think about getting a new Batman VR title in the mix or should the IP have taken a slight break after everything as of late? Will this be more than a training simulation as we have had before and will we actually get to feel more like the character? What villain do you think we are going to see here and will we ever get to see Dog Welder out there in the mix? Swoop on down to the comment section to discuss all of those thoughts and everything else we have to offer up out there. We will add more for Batman: Arkham Shadow as soon as there is more to add. I have a feeling Summer Game Fest and SDCC will give us all a whole lot more to experience.
